Brief Information About the Product

The Slabmax System

Slabmax from Özler is an innovative horizontal formwork solution for casting concrete slabs. Composed of aluminum panels, the system is specifically engineered to maximize formwork/stripping speed, economic efficiency, and operational safety on large-scale construction sites and beyond. By utilizing lightweight materials, Slabmax provides a crucial competitive advantage by eliminating the dependency on costly heavy lifting equipment.

Technical Specifications and Flexibility

The Core Component is the Slabmax Aluminum Panel, which ensures the surface contact with the concrete. Its remarkably low weight faciltates rapid manual handling.

Standard panels are dimensioned at 120×150 but the system offers flexibility, with custom production available for dimensions ranging from 30×90 cm up to 120×150 cm making it highly adaptable to any project geometry with minimal infill.

The standard system supports the casting of concrete slabs up to 35 cm thick. Its inherent modularity allows for quick reconfigurations to suit various slab geometries and structural requirements.

For support, the system utilizes Slabmax EN1065 Props, which are certified according to the European standard EN 1065, guaranteeing high load-bearing capacity and structural reliability.

The system’s longevity and performance are ensured by its Production Quality: all manufacturing processes, including cutting, drilling, and welding, are performed robotically, resulting in extremely high dimensional accuracy and a long system lifespan.

Operational and Economic Advantages

One of the biggest advantages is Fast Assembly and Stripping from the Ground Level. Due to their light weight, the panels can be assembled and dismantled manually, entirely from the ground level, meaning no crane is required. This crucial feature eliminates crane waiting times and significantly reduces equipment dependency.

Precise assembly is made easier by Ergonomic Tools such as the Slabmax Tripod and the Slabmax Lifting Component, which assist in the accurate positioning of the props and the erection of the panels. Furthermore, the panels are designed for compact storage and Easy Transport and Palletization, optimizing site logistics and associated costs.

These features translate directly into Reduced Labor Costs. Independence from the crane and the simplicity of assembly lead to substantial savings in labor and an accelerated formwork/stripping cycle.

In terms of assets, the system offers high Durability. Aluminum is corrosion-resistant and allows for a much greater number of reuse cycles compared to wood or steel formwork, thereby reducing long-term costs. It also promotes Sustainability, as aluminum is a material with high residual value and is fully recyclable.
